About the Book

This entertaining and informative compilation is chock full of affronts and indignities that have been hurled at politicians, royalty, writers, athletes, lawyers, entertainers, and just about everyone else. Both the source of the invective and its recipient are indicated. This title, originally published in 1980, is available on-demand only.

“Hook’s and Kahn’s gathering of jabs uttered by and at individuals in the public eye is riotously entertaining to browse through, as well as a suitable source of quotes for inclusion or adaptation into a speech or other type of presentation.”

“An entertaining and informative compilation.”
